If you are looking for an inexpensive indoor game to play with family and friends, I've got you covered.
My friends and I were looking for something to do on a Saturday night, we wanted to be active but didn't want to go outside in the dark. I had 1 balloon left from Valentine's Day that we were passing around to each other, when my friend had an idea to try to play spike ball with it using our kitchen step stool. We made up some rules that went along with spike ball combined with volleyball (none of us really knew how to play so we created our own rules). The rules are similar to a volleyball game but with a step stool instead of a net. Partners are also on opposite sides of the stool as seen in the picture rules.
Remember to play with caution. Moving all dangerous objects from the playing area.
This is a fun way to get some activity in without spending a lot of money. Laugh with friends and have a good time.

The sport of Balloon Ball is played 2 vs. 2. A player starts by serving the balloon off the stool to the opposing team. The opposing team then has 3 hits to get the ball back to the stool. If the a team can not get the balloon to bounce off the top or side of the stool the opposite team receives a point. The team that receives the point will serve again and continue to play as directed. The first team to score to 11 is the winner of that match. After each match played to 11 points, players will rotate clockwise one spot and start a new match. Continue as directed for 3 full matches or 5 matches. Winning team is the team that won the most matches in the game. This game can be played with 3 matches scored to 11 or 5 matches with the first 4 matches scored to 11 and the last match scored to 9. Have fun with it and make ups your own rules as you go along.
