Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

This recipe I was not planning on making but one day I realized I didn't have any marinara sauce in my pantry but I wanted spaghetti for dinner. So I took what I had a made my own spaghetti sauce.

Ingredients:

1 14oz can tomato sauce

1 14 oz can diced tomatoes

1 tbsp dried minced onion

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp basil

1/2 tsp parsley

1 tsp dried ground oregano

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

2 tsp avocado oil or olive oil

1 cup spinach

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients except the spinach to a sauce pan over medium heat.

  2. Stir continually while it simmers for 5 minutes.

  3. Add the spinach and simmer for another 1 minute.

  4. Enjoy on any pasta noodles.

Servings: 5-6
