Homemade Tater Tots

These tater tots taste like the real deal. They take some time but are so fun to make for family nights. They are also kid approved.

Tater Totes

Ingredients:

4 large potatoes

4 tsp avocado oil or olive oil

4 tsp parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp ground black pepper

1 tsp dried oregano (optional)

1 tsp dried parsley (optional)

Directions:

  1. Wash potatoes off and poke with a fork.

  2. Cook each potato until soft. Microwave one potato at a time for 1-2 minutes or boil in water until soft about 5 min.

  3. Let potatoes cool and grate them with a cheese grater or smash with a fork if soft enough.

  4. Add all ingredients to a medium sized bowl and mix with a spoon.

  5. Form into tater tots and place on greased baking sheet or in an air frier.

  6. Bake or air-fry at 375ºF for 10 minutes. Flipping the tater tots half way through.

Servings: 5-6

About 6-7 tater tots = 1 serving
